Ten remarkable undergraduate students were honoured by the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education (OPEFE) for excelling both within and beyond the classroom.
Alumnus Arthur Brown (EngSci 1T6) and student Jeremy Wang (Year 4 EngSci) are among 20 people in their 20s named to a prestigious aerospace industry list of future engineering leaders.
To nearly half a million Twitter followers, he’s known as an “aliebn confuesed abot humamn lamgauge.” But before all that, he was Jonathan Sun (EngSci 1T1 + PEY), a U of T Engineering Science student with passions for design, architecture and city building, as well as comedy, poetry and performance.
Sandro Young (CompE 1T6 + PEY) always knew he was interested in computers, circuits and electronics. Today, he graduates from The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) as U of T’s top student with a cumulative GPA of 4.0.
