U of T Engineering offers Skule alumni the opportunity to further their education and enhance their careers through our graduate programs.
Four degrees are offered at the graduate level: Master of Engineering (MEng), Master of Health Science in Clinical Engineering (MHSc), Master of Applied Science (MASc), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
The PhD fast-track option is available to qualified, academically strong MASc students at the end of their first year. Fast-tracking makes it possible for students to achieve their doctoral degrees in a shorter period of time, allowing them to launch their careers and apply their knowledge in the workplace sooner. Each academic area has different policies determining when the option takes place.
Please note, Engineering graduate study is administered at the departmental level. That is, each graduate department sets its own degree requirements and criteria for admission. The general information on this page is relevant to all disciplines in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering.
