Robert Richardson’s professional career encompasses a remarkable range of involvement in research, production, administration and corporate management. He joined Du Pont of Canada as a Technical Assistant and progressed to Manager of Research and Development, to Director of Corporate Planning, to Executive Vice-President, and, in 1975, to President, Board Chairman and chief Executive Officer.

He has served on Engineering advisory committees at McGill, McMaster and Queen’s Universities with similar functions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Richardson has also served as Director of Bell Canada Enterprises, the Toronto Dominion Bank, the Delaware Trust Company and as executive member on the committees of numerous professional organizations.
