In celebration of their days at Skule and in honour of their 25th reunion, the Class of 5T6 established the Award of Merit in 1981 to recognize an outstanding first-year student and encourage him or her to keep up the good work. This year, Philip Isaac (EngSci 1T5) received the award for his strong performance in first-year courses and his involvement in outdoor leadership activities and residence life on campus.
Thanks to the collective generosity of the Class of 5T6, the Award of Merit Fund has reached more than $300,000 in donations and will support and reward generations of emerging engineering leaders.
