The University of Toronto Engineering Alumni Network (EAN) is a community of remarkable alumni known around the world as bold innovators and influencers. They are generous leaders, mentors and supporters, with a significant impact on their professional, local and global communities.
The EAN Awards honour and celebrate the contributions of these exceptional alumni. As the highest honour granted to U of T Engineering alumni, we recognize these recipients for their passion, creativity and excellence — and above all, their dedication to creating a better world.

The EAN Awards are changing.
We are excited to launch an updated program for 2024.
The EAN Awards showcase the enormous impact of the U of T Engineering alumni community, and we are honoured to celebrate our recipients. Building on that legacy, we have maintained what has always been important to us, strengthening the U of T Engineering community through alumni achievements and contributions to the Faculty and profession. The updated awards also focus on the Faculty’s goals of championing diversity, using engineering as a tool for positive impact, and keeping curiosity and creativity at the heart of our work.

EAN Award recipients personify excellence, leadership and innovation in their achievements and contributions. Their impact on the social, cultural and economic well-being of society, and their professional community make them exceptional champions of the U of T Engineering legacy.

Nominate an Outstanding Engineering Alumnus
The EAN Awards celebrate the impact of alumni contributions to the Faculty and society. They honour outstanding achievements and the way those alumni showcase our strengths and inspire those around them. Learn more about what we’re looking for and submit a nomination today!
The Nomination package will require the following:

- 2-3 letters of support. Use these tips to write a strong letter of support.
Please note that the Adjudication Committee will review a maximum of 3 letters of support. If more are submitted, the first 3 will be reviewed and considered. - Current CV or LinkedIn profile. If the nominee does not have a CV or LinkedIn profile, please complete this CV replacement form here.
