Hong Kong: Rotman/Engineering Chapter Fireside Chat on Sustainable Finance + Reception

HongKong_Night

Rotman and U of T Engineering are thrilled to return to Hong Kong this March for a Fireside Chat on sustainable finance.

How do we achieve long-term prosperity while integrating environmental and social sustainability into financial activities and business planning? One of the most pressing issues of our time, speakers will discuss the role management leaders play in mitigation of the climate crisis, while driving innovation and growth in the economy.

This evening is also an opportunity to reconnect with Rotman and Engineering, fellow alumni and friends.

Moderating the Fireside Chat will be Scott Liao, Professor of Accounting and Vice Dean, Undergraduate and Specialized Programs at Rotman. He will be joined by speakers and proud alumni John Lo (BASc ’92), founder of the Asian Carbon Institute, and Alice Suen (BCom ’04), managing director, head of sustainable finance and investments for HSBC. The chat will conclude with a Q&A from the audience, followed by open networking and refreshments.

For security reasons, we are asked to provide the Consulate with a list of attendees prior to the event date. As space is limited, those interested in attending must RSVP online before end of day March 5, 2025.

Dress code is business casual.
