Henry graduated from the University of Toronto with a BASc in engineering science and a major in electrical engineering. He also received an MBA from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
Henry has extensive experience in railway signalling design, system engineering, project management and railway operations. He lectures at universities, engineering institutions, seminars and workshops, and publishes papers in journals and magazines on signalling system design, electromagnetic interference and project management. He currently owns and operates an engineering and consulting firm supporting railway projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
Henry is a Registered Professional Engineer (RPE) in Hong Kong, Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Canada, Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE). He is also a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
